Stormwater Management Studies

Colonial Heights With over 30-years of experience, KES's Civil and Environmental Engineer, Mike Bumbaco, P.E., has performed hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, stormwater master planning, stormwater management system assessment and design, low impact development (LID) design and retrofits, man-made and natural channel assessment and design, cost estimating, LEED(R) certifications for stormwater management, watershed assessments and planning studies, construction document preparation, and construction administration.  Stormwater designs and studies have utilized ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, the Modified Rational Method, TR-20, TR-55, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8, HydroCAD, and EPA SWMM.  KES is heavily involved with development of DCR's current Virginia Stormwater Management Regulations, Runoff Reduction Worksheet, BMP Clearinghouse, and Stormwater Management Handbook.
